All the maps in COD4 are perfect the way they’re, but since this is next gen, they should probably update the graphics.
If they did remake COD4 they shouldn’t really touch any of the game mechanics. Not saying the other Call of Duty’s are bad, just saying if my friends and I had one game to choose to replay in the whole series, we would all choose COD4. Almost every person who I know that has played COD4 says that it was the best and most well balanced COD. I no longer play Game Battles nor do I even try anymore. The movement abilities in the newer Call of Duty has killed my competitiveness. I would just play COD4 on my Xbox360 instead of making this post if every game I played on 360 didn’t have a hacker flying around or deleting my stopping power perk so that my character is broken. If it does get remastered and released as an Xbox One edition, COD4 players will no longer have to deal with the Xbox 360’s hacking scene. Sniping was a very fun factor of that game because it didn't have the broken sniper feeling mechanics that the newer generations of Call of Duty has. The game was balanced in a sense that vision(UAVs/Perks) wasn't too overpowered and everyone had the same killstreaks. In my opinion Call of Duty 4 was the start of the whole call of duty franchise. Play on 10 fan favorite maps such as “Crash,” “Backlot,” and “Crossfire.They should make a remastered Xbox One Edition of Call of Duty 4 instead of just making the original game backwards compatible because it was a really important game within the Call of Duty Series.
